No that was the case in the original anime, in this one he has the same body his entire life and it doesn’t age once he becomes immortal

No he didn’t, if you read the manga you’d the young way he looks in the OP was before he became immortal and one thing that doesn’t change from the original anime and this one is that he was immortal long before he met her

One thing I don’t like about the opening, they show Hoenheim meeting Trisha when he’s younger, but he the last time he looked that young was LONG before he met her

Go watched dubbed DBZ, the dubbed far outshines the Japanese
FMA is probably the only show where I like both the subbed and dubbed

I have yet to come across a dubbed anime where the voice acting fits the parts better than the japanese voice acting…maybe its just my preference, who knows.

@blackstar I actually prefer the dubbing for this anime. Al’s voice in japanese annoys me. I think the English voice cast fits better. I know, shocking.

Ya the first series was faithful to the manga for about the first half of the series, then diverged. Since this one is suppsoed to be faithful to the manga all the way through, we will have some overlap the first 10 episodes or so i guess. I dont think the whole first seaosn will be a remake, since they jsut did episodes 2-7 of the old series in this one episode tonight. Looks like they are just trying to speed through a recap. At least I hope so, cause right now the first one is a whole lot better than this one is >_<

lamerman the older anime had some parts from the manga then went off into a different, this one should end up being a different if it follows the manga like it supposed.
