Default A Tale of Fale - 08-24-2010, 06:48 AM

Kuroko: Mukashi, mukashi...

There was a man named Nicholas. This man had decent internets, and a decent home. Then came the reckoning. On this day, to this man, was sent a message that all he knew and loved would be taken from him. The man despaired. He gathered his things in defeat, and, in one final, futile attempt to take advantage of the internet he was to lose, he downloaded hundreds of gigabytes of entertainment to occupy his time when he would be stuck on a 30KB/s connection.

However, life would not so easily let this man find peace. All of his hopes dreams were shattered upon plugging in his computer for the first time at his new residence. His Power Supply, Motherboard, and Hard drive, were rendered lifeless beyond repair in a pitiful whimper and spark as he pressed the power button. His last saving grace was the backup drive containing the data he would have lost.

He nearly became an hero. He spent the next few months reading, playing pokemon, and crying. Then the day came that he was able to afford the last part he needed, and he rejoiced. He assembled the pieces, turned on the computer, felt overflowing joy, plugged in his backup drive, and fell even deeper into the pits of despair. With that drive fried, and 30KB/s internet, he had no way of recovering the hundreds gigabytes of loli, and the few series stored on it.

tl;dr: How the fuck does an external even get fried like that? Fuck you, life.

See the continuation in a few weeks, when this poor man gets decent internet!

omg.... if that happened to me, i'd be going berserk and cursing everything in sight! Heck, after 1 week I would resort to going to a public wifi location or try hacking into my neighbor's internet LOL

But yeah, this story is disturbing =[
Than again, if this was your story Booyadude, I would be laughing at your loli depravity lol ^_^

Thats a pretty good question. Did you desecrate any ancient indian Burial grounds recently? Or curse any gods?

you never EVER curse any gods cuz can bite your ass pretty hard and that F***ing hurts.

back it up on discs; CD, DVD, dual layer DVD, single/dual/try/quad layer Bluray or maybe tape.

Oh dam, if this really is your story, than you have my deepest sympathy, I didn't think someone could have that much bad luck strike at once in real life =,=
Thank god, I got a surge protector power strip, saved my PC several times in the past. HIGHLY advice surge protection power strips, at the least, for all PC users. =/
