I already thought that stuff was common knowledge. That humans only use between 6-8% of their brain. And that "personal reality" is well...your own "personal reality". Not bashing you, just saying. I did some researching into esper stuff a few times...always came up empty. Plenty of people will claim it. But none can prove it as far as I could find. I just don't think the human mind and body are physically capable at this point to handle such things. Maybe if they consciously used more of their brain. But I don't think that's something you can really just "do". I'm sure the government would have done something like that by now. And besides...there's the whole thing of "Physics" and "Laws of nature" that get in the way .Always interesting though. That said. I have seen some pretty fascinating stuff on certain humans there were a little "special" in what they could do from normal humans. Been on TLC? Or Discovery or something before. History channel once or twice. None of it was "Esper" powers though. And was always a reasonable scientific explanation *For most of it*. Though what those people could do with their little "uniqueness" was quite little/limited. For instance: One guy could have metal stick to his body. Turns out his skin was just so super smooth, that it created a suction like vacuum causing metallic *Also smooth surfaces* to stick (From the perspiration on his body). Nothing special going on there. Another guy could have a electricity running through him (Only 2x more than a normal human if I remember right), and touch something flammable and it would light it on fire. Though there was a limit to how much damage he could do, and withstand himself. And he need a constant power supply. It had something to do with his body make up. And it's not like he could just wave his hands around a wall and light it on fire, lol. I believe he had to keep his hand on like a piece of paper for over 20 minutes before something happened. But it was kool. The only thing I have ever seen that has ever even come remotely close, with quite a few mixed reports is some sort of "physic" ability. But I have always been very skeptical of those claims. Though once on history channel, a man claimed a government did due some research into the ability of people who could sit in a room, and draw you a picture (intel) of a place anywhere in the world (I forgot what this ability is called). They showed some actual pictures from this project (Might have been a re-creation). And well if it was true, the pictures were some-what accurate. But that's as good as they could get. The project was eventually abandoned...we had air reconnaissance so...lol. Why have guys draw pictures? (Yes I know, there can be actual reasons, but remember I said, only some-what accurate pictures). |

For example: When I flip a coin, 85% of the time I can make it land on whatever side I want. Why? I figured out if I flipped it from the same EXACT spot on my hand. For some reason 85%+ of all my coin tosses, were nearly the same height and time in air, thus causing them to always land on the side I wanted in my hand. In other words, I flipped at a constant rate/power, making the coin spin such only 5 times in the air, having it almost always land on the same side. Meaning I usually win coin tosses .Nothing special here. I just happen to be able to flip a coin so it flips 5 times. My brain and hand just had to get use to judging it. If you are serious, you could be doing the same thing subconsciously (Unknowingly) with the dice. You need other people (A few others) to roll the dice for you. Then try it. Another Example: I almost always win "Rock, Paper, Scissors". Why? Because I have trained my eye and mind to read people's patterns and speeds, also just using common sense to what you feel those people would pick. Basically I delay my hand by just a split second, so little most don't notice (A long enough to delay, to see what they are picking, and to choose my own after they have), but I'm quick enough to "Think"/Process what others hands are forming into what shapes, that it's just enough time to make me pick the right winning hand form. This is also why whenever I play anyone at this game, I always request "Best 2 out of 3". Anymore and that would be stupid. But with 3 try's, that is enough time for me to learn the person's speed, eliminate one of their choices (Or at least the possibility is greatly reduce they'll choose the same thing again [Since you just spent round #1 seeing what they'll pick and how fast they were], unless you know that person well and think they will trying to be tricky), and have a reasonable chance at guessing their next choice, or a neutral choice for myself that will result in a drawl, giving me another chance to pick up on them (Traits/speed/Pattern to how they think for something that simple isn't that hard). No magic and no "esper" powers going on here for me .PS: I've been doing this since childhood, so I have a ton of experience which probably helps increase my chances of winning. Practice at anything and you can get good at it. So Daniel, if it's anything like that, nothing really special going on. You just practiced enough with yourself, you know what your own self is more than likely going to get on the dice. Example: Flip a coin a 1,000 times. If the coin lands 70% of the time on heads. You can say "It will land on heads" next round, and probably be right. Nothing special, just statistics. The coin is probably slightly more weighted on the other side having a greater pull from gravity. |
