The trend and style of this anime will not pass today's standards and that's quiet obvious. Try watching the music videos of this era and you'll see many gayly trend and style.

I think the fact that this is all just a joke might be eluding you, sid.

Also, He-Man is not anime. You should feel ashamed for putting "He-Man" and "anime" in the same sentence. The only appropriate occasion those two words could be in the same sentence is if you said, "He-Man is not anime."

Sorry for that uncanny mistake about anime and cartoons in terms of art and origin.

Americans call it animation or cartoons and the Japanese call their animation as "anime". So therefore they are both animation with disregard to art and origin. So I think this fact eludes you the most.

But hey SC, everything in the 80's is funny nowadays and its quite common. You can see it in the movies often.

One thing though that really eludes me SC. Why are you watching it anyway when its really gayly?
