Default Who is your hero and why? - 04-27-2010, 06:33 AM

My hero is Malcolm X. He was such a great speaker and the best debater. He had the drive and initiative to change the world. My favorite thing about him is that he was not above himself, he was willing to admit he made mistakes for the greater good and he sacrificed his life for the greater good. I also love his by any means necessary mentality. I hope I can at least be half the man he was. Who's is your hero? Srs if you say like goku I hope you get banned.

Quotes:
"A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything."

"Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery."

"I don't even call it violence when it's in self defense; I call it intelligence."

"I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it's for or against."

"Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it."

"Power never takes a back step only in the face of more power."

"The future belongs to those who prepare for it today."

"Truth is on the side of the oppressed."

"You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. "

"You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it. "

"You don't have to be a man to fight for freedom. All you have to do is to be an intelligent human being. "

“The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses.”

“I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it's for or against.”

“I believe in the brotherhood of all men, but I don't believe in wasting brotherhood on anyone who doesn't want to practice it with me. Brotherhood is a two-way street.”

Nikola Tesla
The more i read about him the more i am amazed. He hardly receives any recognition for anything and continually is overshadowed by another great thinker Thomas Edison. He lived a rough life and yet shrived so much for everything he accomplished. His tesla coils had endless uses ranging from broadcasting radio, Remote controlled vehicles, Free electricity, weather control. All of his papers on this research and many more were taken by the US government when he died.

Booyadude.

Why? Do I really need to say more? It's Booyadude.

He showed me the true path of enlightenment through the way of the Loli.

*I'll make a serious post later...too tired tonight. Though I was serious about Booya...*

Yeah Tesla did get the screw job. What's also interesting is how Edison spent a lot of effort in discrediting him all the while looking at his ideas. You could say Edison was the Bill Gates of his day lol.

My hero is my older sister.
Because after all that we've been through, foster family after foster family, she remained strong.

Even till this day, no matter what obstacles she faces, she faces them head on and perseveres.

Yeah that video talks about. I wouldn't be surprised if Edison had Tesla's laboratory burnt down.

I have no hero seeing as I don't see anyone as being superior to myself.

Now I'm going to go admire myself some more in a mirror.

Alucard, he is Dracula 'himself', do I need to say more?

Quotes:
"You are a fool who creates slaves to do your dirty work. A coward and an incompetent, incapable of doing anything on your own. You are not even worthy of the lowest pits of Hell!"

"Is it fun... Heh! Is that what it takes for filth like you to get off... cheap little two bit terrors."
"Enternity is wasted upon the likes of you. Try as you might, but immortality slips away. ..."
