Seeing as the TTGL threw GALAXIES around like frisbees, them stating thats not an accurate comparison of size is the mother of all understatements. They would have done a better job if they had gone from VY Canis Majoris to a map of our galaxy, point out that VY Canis Majoris, the largest star we know of wouldn't even equal a single pixel in the image, then jump to the TTGL holding a galaxy and then you might almost but probably not grasp the sheer size of the TTGL.
