I just watched a couple movies and I couldn't help but think with such advanced technology, is it too much to ask for harnesses or some seat belt for the chairs lol. I think I counted about 80 people being thrown 10 feet.

I would beg to differ on that good sir. If you remember when they were asked to get a whale in one of the movies, they returned to earth, in the past. They had cars with seat belts. So maybe they became obsolete, but there were seat belts.

They don't need seat belts! because as they fly through the air the air friction slows them and they land gently, while if they had seat belts the pressure would cut them in half.....maybe

another thing, whats with constructing all your control panels with explosive material? but what really puzzles me is how the ship takes a hit the farthest point away from the bridge, yet that poor red shirt guy in the corner of the bridge gets blasted across the screen XD.

I mean you can sum up every star trek episode the same way. Red shirts all die, explosion, kirk rips shirt, gets girl, maybe some more explosions, bones yelling "I'm just a doctor, Jim!" End Credits
