After watching some new and first episodes of some spring anime I got so disappointed in todays anime industry. All of them are oriented in mega boobs and pantsu, perverted main characters and sick lolis. Anime is not what it used to be, what I enjoyed watching like a kid. What do you think guys? In near future old anime spirit will be completely gone and it will attract some sick hentai lovers with no life

I agree with you Joss. Anime nowadays can't live upto the expectation set by the old anime. Like you said they concentrate more on the gigantic boobs rather than a captivating story. its very rare to see new anime which have a great story that captivates the watcher and forces him to watch more!!!!! Thats why the old anime are way better than the new anime being aired which why i don't watch the new ones.

For as long as I can remember, most animes have centered around boobs. It's nothing new, neither is the rest. This season is just devoid of good animes in my opinion. The only one I care about that launched this season is Gundam Unicorn, which does not include pretty much anything of what you said.

I have seen many good new animes, you just have to pick up the right ones.

i wont say that i am against having boobs and pantsu in anime but overdoing it kinda ruins the anime, and i feel like they dont release great anime anymore, just feel like i have watched all the great ones

I agree, but it's not that bad.
If they just leave the fanservice out of the action/thriller/horror animes then it would be a lot better.
I also agree with Shades that you should try and watch the first episode of some random anime and continue watching the one(s) you like.

I agree with you all. No more good anime recently. The GITS era is gone, no more heavy duty story like Evangelion series, beautiful mecha musical series like Macross ( the Frontier is best, but has some problematic quality control ) And Gundam series is become boring... (Unicorn OVA not included ^_^)
I think the good anime franchise today only produced in OVA and Movies. ( Maybe the decent budget and profit of TV series is not good ) And the TV series anime theme today only produced 'widely accepted' abnormal otaku theme Moe-Loli-Ecchi triangle

Meh... This conversation has been had before. Thread got closed if I recall.
It's not like complaining about it is going to help much.
Just pick what you want & leave the rest.
Also, there's got to be anime you haven't watched yet.
Finding good series among those shouldn't be too hard right?

psh, anime today has kiddy stories. Bring back the horror, gory anime from back in the day like vampire hunter D, Blood OVA, Lily Cat, akira, etc...

THOSE are true animes.
