its sad it was a small kid...but well its america. Its better that these Idiots reduse themself bit by bit ... its not important if its over darwin awards, muder/serial killers (highest rate) or in wars in countrys they dont belong (irag afganistan vietnam).

Both parents we're stupid, the mother should have noticed her daughter was playing with a gun ..

We don't know if she had a mother, or if the mother was busy or sleeping or even home. It probably all happened quickly. The father went out for probably at most a few minutes before going back inside or after hearing the shot.
I'm only guessing though.

He should have taken the gun with him though either way

You know, the circumstances . how the gun was placed there, what happened to the security lock, how did a girl pick a gun which weighed far too much for her flimsy arms, where her dad was, what the wii controller looked like , how much blood there was after she shot herself, how i stole her wii after that............etc etc.
