Why so hyped up about chinese new year and not halloween and valentines day? it doesn't really have to do with anime.

I suppose it's a very hype up event for chinese. They get money(red packet) and get to celebrate and enjoy life for 15 days straight with their families and friends. And then they eat and drink all they want during that time too and they have all sort of traditional activities everyday. It must be fun T_T. BTW all those other events like valentimes and Halloween doesn't have anything to do with animes either xD

valentine's day is a very hype-up event for others, if we are going to chose a theme, then I rather chose valentine's day, even though i hate it

for me valentine's day has more to do with anime than chinese new years does, well, the love thing anyway xO
