Since I have seen several folks wondering what happened to Yamato, I thought that I would just post this here. If this is in the wrong forum, I am sure someone will move it to the General discussion forum. I am not flaming anyone nor do I care anymore at this point what is said about me back. I have my principles that I live by and they have been broken. I took people at their face value and at their word and as far as I see it, they have broken their word to me; hence this post.

For those wondering, yes, this is Yamato. I am waiting to get a PM from one last person, then I will never log back into this forum again unless something drastic happens.

The rundown:

I asked a question in the support forum. I asked if there was a way to move sent PMs to a user created folder. Then 2 people decided to chime in. Zee promptly ridiculed me and said to use the "move message" from the drop down and said I had no common sense. (In case you didn't gather it, there is no "move message" in the drop down for sent messages). Then Obsolete chimes in and did the same. And then Zee degraded me even more. At that point, I had had enough. I did delete all of the posts, as per the policy that Booya apparently agreed to. Did I mention that I had already once that day banned a user for the exact same infractions? (insulting a staff member....<waves to omg1011/lolololhihi> The next time you decide to go after a staff member of any forum, just don't, or this sort of thing will happen again) I even double checked with Booya to make sure that that action was appropriate and approved as it was the first time we/I were using the new set of rules.

Before the incident with Zee and Obsolete:
I busted my ass for 2 days straight with very little sleep trying to help Kurosaki (and thereby the forum and AT community as a whole). He (Ichi) and I were working on "Mod" rules that were going to be added to the rules sticky in the announcement sub forum with permission and a blessing from Booya. I also bugged the ever loving crap out of Booya for his input to make sure that everything was fair and just for every member of the AT community. There was a crapton of material to cover and digest before I could even think of what the new rules should be. Basically those rules were thus:

1: Any personal attack on a Mod gets you a warning and an infraction. 2nd time, you'd get perma banned. The infraction thing btw was being used to track abuse so that if another mod saw it, they would know to ban that person then outright.

2: Any personal attack on any AT member gets you a warning first, then a set of Bans. The bans would start at one day and go up to a perma Ban. There would have probably been about 5 levels of bans as the ban times are set within vBulletin itself. They sorta went like 1d,2d,3d etc 1w,2w,3w, a months......you get the idea. It was merely a matter of deciding which ones to use in the final version.

3: The comment section for posts on the main page. Any comment not related to the episode would be deleted such as: Wheres the avi, 1st, 720p?...that sort of nonsense. No exceptions.

I had it all nicely formatted and was going to post it today actually. What happens to that now, I have no clue.

Back to Zee and Obsolete. When I was about ready to start the process with Zee, I was told not to and that he was "above" the law as it were. To quote Booya: "Zee is Zee". Sorry to say, but even if Obama himself came to this forum and insulted anyone, I would do what I had to do by following the guidelines that were going to be posted and I would have banned his ass. It's a matter of principle for me.

I was working hard to make sure that people could enjoy themselves here and not have to deal with some of the BS that goes on. Even Booya himself wanted to see this sort of crap stop. To be told that now certain people were above that by Booya was even more of an insult than anything Zee said. If it's good enough for one person, then it is good enough for everyone else. No one is "special". Last time I checked, 99.99% of all humans share the same genetic code. The only thing about us that *is* different is where we grow up and what we are taught. I was taught that we respect each other no matter what, but if the gloves come off, then I take mine off completely and come at full bore.

So right then and there I told Booya to delete my account/remove me as a Mod. Anything less than that and I would be doing the people here a disservice by compromising my integrity and the faith that the AT members should hold staffers to.

Do NOT let anyone tell you differently. That is exactly what happened. I am not wrong and no one can make me say otherwise.

I'm sorry Eve, Ichi, Geo and the rest of you that I was getting to know....I was starting to really enjoy the company of quite a few of you. Rather than let you down and myself by fighting a losing battle, I am going to leave this crap up to Booya/Naga and the double standards. I hope you never get on the wrong end of them.....that would make me even more annoyed.

Anyone can feel free to PM me , I will be around for a little bit yet, maybe 3 days max. I am waiting for one last PM. I'm sorry that we didn't get to hang out a bit more. You can even send your hate pm's as well if that's how you feel. I just won't read them.

Again though. Don't let anyone tell you any differently, this is exactly what happened.

Booya: Believe it or not, I don't "hate" you. You have taught me an awful lot about the vBulletin forum system. And especially Chatzilla. I really do appreciate that one Booya. You taught an old dog a new trick. I won't forget that, ever. It's a damn shame that we can't "work" together anymore.....I am going to miss it. You were (ok...ARE) a good friend. I may be annoyed at you right now, but as far as I am concerned, you will stay a friend.

I think that covers just about everything.

Basically those on IRC and those being friends of Booyadude are above the "law" in here, that's just how it is really. Not to point fingers or flame since it doesn't really concern me. Can understand your frustration even though I have absolutely no idea who you are, I'm not a part of IRC so maybe that's why.

All I say is good job at not compromising who you are. Good luck elsewhere ^_^

Well your sense of justice was very nice. i agree no one is above the law and rules, if someone is let off for breaking rules all must be let off and vice versa. I actually haven't seen you around the forum but none the less since you were doing your best for AT and its members than i would like to thank you for your time and effort. it is indeed a shame you aren't gonna hang around here for long.

I was brought in to help Ichi with the forums and comment sections. While I'm not new to AT as a regular downloading Joe, I never really used the forums. I don't expect that many will know my name as I was just getting settled in but that right there is the reason why I was doing what I was. Not for the thanks but to help. I am certain we would have crossed paths eventually.

Oh and WsE, the only reason I was using IRC was so I could chat with Booya and Ichi and pick his/their brain. Trying to do it via PM would have been so time consuming they'd have probably shot me.
