WTF?! Incest? (blood related or not)

I decided to watch this anime and it was pretty funny, I don't usually watch that kind of anime (slice of life ecchi, whatever it's called).

AND THEN!!!

The main character and his sister get together... I am so confused! I spent the last three or four episodes cringing, and ended up skipping through most of it.

I can't believe for a second that this is a Japanese cultural thing, how could they possible have survived as a culture by inbreeding? They couldn't.

Someone please enlighten me, is this a common theme in this sort of anime genre? Why did the writer of this show allow me to watch 9 episodes and then throw in this very odd and (in my opinion) disturbing plot twist?

Why god WHY!?!?!?!?!??!!!?!?!

P.S.: I have two younger sisters, so maybe it's targeted at males with out sisters? Or creeps...

I could barely bring myself to watch it.
Fairly common in anime, especially hentai.

In that anime though, they not so subtly hinted that she's adopted
and he's the only one in the family that didn't know or remember
through out.

I hate incest. This anime is pretty decent early on, but after some episodes, it's only downhill.

*mangroth:dude,i think it explains in the anime that they are not related by blood...but you wouldn't know because you skipped the last episodes....

Ewww yuckies.... Can't imagine it. I'm really irritated with this anime it makes me wanna go mad and kill the creator of it. ugh...

And even if they're not blood related, can you go on and fall in love with someone you thought as your sister? Really, WTH are they thinking?
