Did ya know how did Google Chrome get his logo? This is old... But:

Microsoft logo -> muxing -> Chrome logo

Google Chrome OS is going to be mainly a cloud OS. I just hope that it will help to push forward standards in the OS world that will bring about applications being able to run on computers not based on what OS it is. Yes I use linux.

i agree specially after Microsofts debacle with Vista iam willing to try something new.

Isn't the OS called Android? From what I understand, Android is going to be pre-installed on laptops and pc's by ACER as an alternative to Windows, to make them cheaper by a couple hundred $$

i think Android OS is for the Google phone i just bought an ACER aspire 8930 and they didnt offer me a choice
