Default Advertising world is learning? - 06-17-2009, 08:25 PM

So I was stuck with my parents yesterday and we were in the car driving home (shock horror) As usual the radio was on and this advertisment came. At first I assumed it was just like any crappy advertisment. It was for some Nissan car seller company thingy, not all that interesting.

But then it happened, we got to the end of the ad, they listed all the towns which has one of their showrooms, then they said, "To find out which showrroom is nearest you, use google." I was like, "Holy shit, they suggested google that's clever", and that Nissan car company salesmen people thingy I don't remember the name of now have newfound respect, for showing they have at least a little knowledge when it comes to the internet.

I was real bored yesterday, I felt this story which really brightened my day was worth sharing

I'm baaaack after my hiatus, anyone miss me?

Currently watching: Angel Beats, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Armed Librarians: The Book of Bantorra, Bleach, Durarara!!, Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, Heroman, K-On!!, Naruto Shippuden

I don't think so, it's not pretty easy to be a just-God thing.

It's an advertising inside an advertising... interesting.

You know, I had that exact thought myself when I heard this one commercial for a jewelry shop. At the end of their lengthy ad, they ended with "Google us." I was flabbergasted at that. It's a revolution in ads, but will it be a good thing for us?
