This is what happen after Hollywood studios sue Hotfile over copyright .

Therefore, we have implemented a more aggressive policy of terminating the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated complaints of infringement.

Please ensure that you have all necessary rights to any content that you
share with others using Hotfile.com.

Wondering if people still going to upload to hotfile or not because almost everything is copyright material.

Even if Hotfile dies out, another file hosting site is going to pop up and people will switch to it, it's basically what's happened with Rapidshare.

Besides, aren't most people using Fileserve these days? Every thing I've looked for recently seems to be hosted on there.

Yeah, I prefer Megaupload as well, but if hotfile goes down... I can't get heaps fast DL speed at school

the 3 that i use and perfer are .... 1. megaupload 2. fileserve and 3. filesonic
i use to use rapidshare but it turned shitty, now you need rapids... like wtf?
