So I never knew a british cosplayer was so famous in japan until I saw the documentary on BBC3. She is now an idol in japan(for those like me who werent in the know). Not so successful but has a lot of attention.
I am not bashing how she got famous because i think its cool but to start a singing career with that kind of voice, terrible lyrics and a stupid english producer who is just in to make some quick bucks and hope for success and global domination. Thats simply is not going to happen.
In my opinion she should stick with this idol fascination thing japan has as that is where her fanbase is and just work on getting a singing voice first. Just because anime is gaining some ground in the western world doesnt mean people here will buy into it(being the japan culture). That is still many years away..She is better of with Tokyo Love.
Well, did anyone else catch this documentary?
