Best MKV to PS3 Converter?

Please help me.Recently I bought a 16gb flashdrive to put anime on to watch through my ps3, I knew I'd have to convert the files but an hour or two to convert an episode I'll watch for for 25 minutes is ridiculous.(divX)

So please give me the best converter possible, preferably non fee paying and that you may use yourself.

Please help me I gave up buying the last Scott pilgrim book for the sake of that flashdrive

personally I like mkv2vob. but seriously its not hard to find one, there are a lot of programs out there

lulz.. my notebook is mediocore .. but converting from MKV to avi takes 30-35 min with "alltoavi"

if u have the cash to buy a ps3 why not just buy the blu ray for the anime : \

Mediacoder NT Cuda edition might help speed the process. I've used it a few times to play with it. Mediacoder NT Cuda edition has set profiles and you can tweak them so that it will show properly on your PS3. Just need a compatible nvidia card that supports cuda and you should be set.

I personally don't use it anymore as my notebook has HDMI and I just plug it into my tv and get Full HD playback.

I'm region B, don't sell anime blu rays in my country. only a few crappy dvds.

I use SoundTaxi to convert my files.. works real well... (though it's not AVI but MP4, which works in my case)
