Hey I know you guys don't mean any harm but I think I would appreciate if ppl were to follow a format for the titles.

I remember quite a while ago (if my memories isn't wrong) there was a thread that states how the format for the title heading should be... it's something like this:

[Site of filehoster] Anime name [Details like DVD or 720p][Probably sub group]

e.g [MU] Sora no Otoshimono [DVD][polished]

Something like that... It makes things more standard I guess if you were to ask why and it's easier for ppl to spot animes and the filehosters they want to download from along side with the quality and sub group they like...

I use the search all the time and I still think this is a good practice because you could just search by thread title and spot your preferred host, resolution, sub group, and so on in the results right away. Having to search all the post bodies for any details gives you a lot of extraneous junk to sort through.
For instance, searching for Sora no Otoshimono DVD just now brought up everything from "Music Request/Sharing Thread" to "[MU]Durarara! [gg] (avi) and [Frostii]," while doing it by thread title with a properly labeled thread only gives me "[MU] [polished] Sora no Otoshimono [DVD]."

The download section is hell since people just upload as they please (uploading is great, but). The people with fancy colours will eventually clean up that section when we deem it too much, but right now we just let people upload and hopefully people looking for links use the search tool. It would be great if those that upload did the same, but don't expect too much of others. In the end this gives you choices if there's multiple threads for the same deal, in case links are taken down or similar.

Oh, and feel free to report if any links are down in a thread and they're not being re-uploaded for some time. Then that thread can be removed for good. You can also report if you see someone using linkbucks, that'll not be tolerated.

Ah I see. I think booya or someone at one point even made sure that that particular rules thread had to be read (or at least encouraged it) and press continue before one could enter the Anime Downloads section.

Dunno if it is still like that or not. I remember people complaining because they didn't know how to pass that page lolz
