Default How do I burn (fancy) subs??? - 06-01-2010, 11:36 AM

let me tell you want my problem is............

I use MKV2VOB to convert MKV to MPEG4 + etc
The problem is that the subtitles are not fancy. The program just burn the files like normal text. So bye bye to well placed stings, different font text and other things.
All i would like to know if TAKA can burn fancy subs is it or will it be too difficult for me to do the same.............

My main objective is to have fancy subs in 720p or 1080p anime.

I am a dumbass so any help will be appreciated.

Those fancy subs you're referring to is normally in SRT and ASS format (I don't really remember the exact format name so it's highly possible wrong) which is only natively supported by mkv unless you wanted to hardsubbed it. There should be a free application to do so, googling will give you the application.

If anyone could properly answer his question without getting into insane details, I'd appreciate this as well. I've roughly 4 .MKV series I'd like to watch on 1080p on my nice TV, not this crappy monitor.

You could always plug in an HDMI cable from your comp to your TV.

But why would you want to watch something with an inferior container? Huge quality loss when .mkv is converted to .avi.
