Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I would go about playing anime on my TV in HD. I know that almost all the material encoded these days are upscaled or put into an MKV container. I actually purchased an Xbox360 recently, and it allowed me to hook up to the computer allowing playback of all supported files. Obviously MKV isn't one of them.

So to get to the point I guess I'm just asking if there's any way to convert MKV to MP4 or AVI without loss in quality, OR are there any groups that encode to MP4/AVI in HD already? If so, can you link me to them, or point me in the right direction?

Format Factory can be also a great choice to convert to avi or mp4 in lightning speed without ruining much of the video quality.

Doesn't take that long either. 30mins, +/- 10 for an average anime file. 1-1.5 hours for a 1080p 1gb anime file.
