They are probably 10-bit encodes. If they are, you can't convert it to .avi with any tools like that.

Current converting tools have to adapt and put out new versions of their software. That's how technology works. You will have to deal with it till some program out there gets an update for 10 bit ಠ_ಠ

You can convert 10bit into avi with Umile Encoder 3. It's freeware and...you will lost quality big time.

Don't ask me for reup. I you want ost or jmusic before it even hit the shelves, you would have to find my website. just google for want you are looking for and add download at the end of your search. I can't post the name of my website, I have been banned 1 week already b/c I linked to it once. I won't be active in the forums anymore since it became a playground for wannabees.

After installing it, click on configuration and look for a sub-menu called "Output File Extendion". Clicking the arrow associated with this sub menu and a drop down menu will appear. From that sub menu choose avi as the output file extension (as its default is automatic---mpg). NB----From the configuration menu on the far right there is a check list, from that list, check "Load subtitles from file" and "Always Encode Subtitles" in order for the converted vid to have the subtitles as well.

Choose "english" from the "preferred subtitle language" menu (or any other language u can understand)

Then click "add file" choose the vid(s) you wish to convert.

*Hope this helps as this is what i use to convert my Fairy Tail mkv vids with subtitles from ryugan to mpg so it can play in my dvd player. Alwaze works 4 me!!!!!!!!*
