Default Trying the rip my dvds. Help? - 12-07-2011, 04:21 AM

Alright, I have abunch of dvds but Id like to just make copies of them by using my cd burner but just keeping the material on my computer. So which program would you guys recommended ?

DVD Shrink and Magic DVD Ripper are the ones I use currently.

if you want a 1:1 copy i'd recommend "dvd decrypter" and make iso/s out of them + "daemon tools lite" to mount those iso/s. you'd also need "anydvd" for CSS encrypted dvds.

Hey dude in case you still reading, MakeMKV is the best solution for making an exact copy of a DVD. It's free for now, and works absolutely perfect.

To re-encode to a smaller filesize, use handbrake. It has presets, if you want to use advanced options read up on x264 settings.
