Dami -- the D-sub in this case is most likely in reference to D-Sub 15, which is another name for a VGA connection.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Thus it should work. Hell, just take a look at your computer's video-card-to-monitor connection. Count the holes (should be 3 layers of 5 each). Then look at your TV's connections. They should match. Screw it, I just took your model number and looked it up myself. The D-Sub listing is definitely for the standard PC VGA connection. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Yeah, you might be limited to the resolution you previously mentioned, but it's still a workable solution. If you go down this viable route, I suggest getting the cable on Ebay cheap. |

yo Dami,
I have the exact same problem. When i Connect my Alienware to my tv with a Hdmi cable the colours are off, and it sometimes even get worse. The colors then shift to ecxtreme green and red tones. However Im using a Radeon graphics card and a Samsung tv. I do have win 7 so it might be something about the newer cards or win 7. As soon as i find out something I'll let you know |
