You choose a billing method. Monthly, 3 months, 6 months etc. From experience with subscriptions I have yet to encounter a service that actually cancels or stops your payment till you choose otherwise. At least when using a credit card as you do.
Basically what you need to do is pay for the given time you want, then cancel the subscription manually. Then once you want to pay for it again you do so, then cancel it again. All of which has to be done manually. |

Let me get this straight, you have the information you need but now you need someone to interpret it for you? If you can't figure it out by now you have no biz having a bank account in the first place.
I hope for your sake this is a troll. |

*(BTW I also learn this via online)* If u're paying via PayPal: 1. Login to PayPal 2. Go to My account 3. Go to Profile 4. Go to My Money 5. Under My preapproved payments click Update 6. Cancel the subscription. That's all. I did that and they didn't charge me anymore for fileserve. Hope this helps

You forgot the part that says: "and cancel the subscription with the applicable payment processor,".
Call your bank (and have your statement handy). A C Doyle - The White Company |

You are not in America? Banks work different here, I guess. Sorry.
If they are sending you a periodic ACH debit, then your bank should be willing to block it, in any country, frankly. I don't get it. A C Doyle - The White Company |
