So i uploaded some anime and before posting decided to read the "rules" and to the best of my extent through interpretation to abide by. However it seems my interpretation of the text differs.

To sum it up before posting, i used the advanced search button to find if any threads had the exact same content but hosted on a different file hoster. Seeing as there were, instead of creating a new thread i posted as a response. Afterwards, sending the moderator a PM to change the prefixes.

Only on my return to see i have been banned, along with the message: "make your own threads instead of using other peoples thread".

So what i'm asking is whether my interpretation of the rule is wrong, and if so a clarification as to what the wording (circled in blue) for that describes.

which i checked to make sure it was the same with the thread in question.

The fact you posted in the thread is correct. But all you did was "Here's links from this filehost" without any information. You need to do a bit more than that. It may be the exact same as the OP's, but it's still just lazy work.

I placed the proper content minus the image which i deemed unnecessary as the main thread had one. In my content post i explained the content of the media file and its duplicity with the thread. So despite of this, it should not have warranted a ban. And if the procedure is correct in posting in a searched thread, i want that moderator to be updated so he/she does not make that accusation again.

So let me digest everything that has been going on so there's no more misunderstandings.

You asked me some days ago to add FSC to some threads you posted your links in. I was going to, but someone deleted those posts, and since you had the no private messages thing on, I couldn't respond back, and left things as they were. Someone banned you for this, and now your asking why and it seems as tho your ban was unjust, and once again your asking me to add FSC in those threads you mentioned in the pm to which I responded "why not make your own threads" since I was just following what the other person was doing to not sound contradictory.

W/E the case, it seems everything was cleared up and I added FSC to those threads.

I had my PM settings on default, and even if i did set it to private i thought moderators and admistrators could overide this with their PMs?

Anyways thanks for finally adding the prefixes, much appreciated. Just wanted this whole misconception to be cleared up. Now that you're upto date is swell, but would also like whomever banned me to be updated aswell. Cause it is just ridiculous to read and abide to rules and still get banned. It's counterintuitive.

Furthermore, your uploads have to contain a description of:
-Storyline/Plot
-Size
-At least one picture of said upload (either screen or cover is enough)
Bear in mind that the more information you provide, the better people will know what they're about to get.

It needs to include that as a minimum.
Yes, even if there is an image already on the first post, you still post another one.
Size = filesize and/or resolution (frame height as you call it)
And you didn't include the plot like you said in your post above. (logs are awesome. :3)
That way people won't have to go check the first post to get info about the release and anime.
The ban reason should have been more clear though, but the ban was valid.
