Well, I didn't have this problem before until I got banned 2 days ago for not following the rules for using sigs.

I have read the rules multiples though, what I don't get is how some people I know are able to put their "main" sigs and plus texts with spolier tag as well -_-;;
Well, I've done the same thing and had no problem until 2 days ago I got banned for breaking the rule.

Anyway, my ban got lifted just today and I just want to ask and MAKE SURE if I'm using the sigs correctly:
- First of all, when using 1 main sigs I'm not allowed to put any text or spoiler tag as well??
- If I'm allowed to use text, how many lines?? it says in the rules that 3 max is allowed WITH the right sigs...
- If I'm allowed to use spoiler tag, what kind of things I can put in? and what can't I??

Right now, I just have my main sigs (I'm afraid to put anything else more since I might get banned again -_-)

What I don't get is how others who did the same thing did not get banned/warned and I got it straight away??

If the sig rules are stuck in your head then what don't you understand?

It's as simple as: if your sig is X size you can use X amount of text lines

Why is that difficult to apply?

400x200 signature with 3-4 lines is not within the rules. You got banned straight away? Hardly.

What seems to be your problem is not knowing the dimension of the signature you use. If you're using firefox: right click - view image info.

You cannot say others are breaking the rules when you clearly don't understand them yourself.

And that "X" size didn't specify how many text lines you can use...

Also, If you want use 3 lines of text you HAVE to use 250x160 sigs...

And it says here:
This does not mean you can use a 500x200 signature and add 3 lines of text. It only qualifies with the above sized signature or smaller.

Yeah, my current sig is 400x200, which I guess it goes to 500x200 category...

Which means that I'm not able to put ANY texts right or spoilers as well?? according to the rule it clearly states that if you want pic/w text than you need to have at leaset 250x160 or smaller.

And your right, I might have not understand the rule properly but I've seen plenty of people who use "500x200" pic and texts/spoiler tag as well...

Or maybe I'm wrong?? look, just tell me clearly: according to my current sig, what is possible and what's not??

Seriously, though I might look dumb for not understanding this simple stuff, is asking that bad?? I'm trying to do my best not to violate the rule and follow what moderators say.

In and of itself there's nothing wrong with you asking. It's the method you're using to do so.

"Others are doing it, then so may I" doesn't really work, which to me, appears to be what you're getting at.

Mind you, height is normally the key issue for most, not the length. 200 + additional lines makes posts take up a ridiculous amount of space, which is why there's actual rules for signatures.

As for your current signature, you cannot add any more.

It's just right now I'm really stressed about my final exam and I can't think straight... don't take this as an excuse though...
