problems trying to connect to an unsecured network

hi!!!
yeah, i know that this is not the perfect forum to ask this but, maybe someone can help me xDD
i bought a new netbook 3 days ago. with windows 7 conection bluetooth and wireless 802.11 b/g/n...
when i conect to any networkd with password that i know, it works very good as it have to do. but when i try to conect to any network without password. it always fails ! i've tryed with a lot of networks without password(unsecure networks as windows named them) here, in the work, in some friends house and if i could, in the moon(sorry, nonsense moment)

so, anyone knows how to fix this error???

high chance that wireless network is MAC filtered.. Maybe their AP is in Whitelist Mode.

you are misundestanding. i tryied using more that one AP,(like 20 or 30 ap)

Unsecured network.....like leeching off someone else's internet? I hate people who do that ~_~

I don't think anyone is stupid enough to put up an unsecured network without mac filtering these days:/

it's not like that xD, if the network is public im not a bad person to try to use what it's provides. so, if i have a netbook i want to be able to use internet anywhere i go, if its free obviusly.

althought, i have an internet connection in my house, so im not trying to steal internet.I only want to utilize the resources that are available to me

so, here in argentina we have sometimes someone who have not password xDDDD.

so, anyone can help me? xDDD
