Default Neep Help With Applying Patches - 01-10-2011, 11:46 AM

Hi everyone I was just on gg's site when I noticed that they released patches for Star Driver. While I to an extent know what a patch does I'm actually trying to learn now how to apply a patch so that way I won't have to re-download all the v2 versions but just apply the patch. If anyone can help me put it would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance to anyone who can help me

just as i'mbored said, put the file you want to edit in a new folder. unzip the patch files and put all of them in that folder as well. click on the .bat file and a command window should open up asking if you want to change the original file. It is critical that the name of the file you want to alter matches the name given in the command window, otherwise the patch won't work (some download websites put underscores in the name when there weren't any originally). It can take a little time for the patch to complete...it all depends on your system setup.
