Hey guys, I have this really not good for narrating voice. So I was wondering if any of you guys know any good and/or easy to use software that helps to add effects or enhance audio files or people's voices. Can anyone recommend any good programs?

Nero comes with a wave editor if you have it. GarageBand if your on Mac. Audicity is the most popular free one, it's quite powerful as well. Maybe your just not using it right.

Yes, I'm probably not using it right. But even if I did used it right, I'm still pretty limited with what I can do. What I need is like certain voice, but one that doesn't sound artificially enhanced. A voice that's kinda like used for children's education shows thats really exaggerated and hyperactive. Baby-talk sort of. Maybe its impossible?

I know with Audicity, you can record, cut/trim, adjust wavelength, speed, pitch remove noise ect. But I hardly use it, most of the time only to cut and reduce noise or do a few remixes for videos or something. I'm not sure what tone you want, but you can adjust the speed to make it squeeky or pitch ect.

Just use Audacity to record and then alter the pitch a bit and play around with things like the vocoder and other plugins. Usually this helps. If you want you could upload a sample and I'd see if there's anything I could do. You can also just PM it to me if you want to.
