Unhappy Can't connect to site - 10-21-2010, 01:00 AM

Hi there,

I tried to connect to Animetake like I usually do every day, but today I was shocked to find that I couldn't connect to the server! I went through my usual protocol when something like this happens. Changed browser, reset modem and router, reset my computer but nothing worked. I started to suspect my ISP so I used a proxy, and sure enough, I got connected. I have contacted various acquaintances around my area (Chicagoland) that use the same ISP, and they couldn't connect as well.

Is this a temporary problem or has Animetake been blacklisted by my ISP? I know it's not the best, but I use Comcast *shudder*.

Thanks for any insight that you may have.

I'm having the exact same problem, so like you I used a proxy to make this comment. I had one of my buddies who is not from the US take check out the website and he told me that it was working fine for him.

Is there some problem on the website that is causing this issue?

It wasn't just you, I'm in Ontario Canada and for most of the day I haven't been able to connect to either the main site or the forum, but it all seems to be working now.

Still out for me, but Max gives me hope that this is just a IP renewal kinda thing.

I get the same thing "can't connect to site" but a proxy is fine but a little wonky and not to mention slow. Even downornot.com reports Animetake as being down.

Use 93.190.139.103 if you're having issues.

^Yeah, that when using the IP address.

I did the usual. Delete cookies, delete history, erase cache, flush DNS, this that and the other thing, but still says "can't connect, server not found"

I'm just in the US on the east coast here.
