Due to recent events, all megaupload, fileserve and filesonic links are now effectively useless.

Rather than alot of confusion on the forums with leechers asking for reuploads or whatnot, wouldn't it be easier/better if the threads with FS/FSC/MU are deleted, and uploaders can start again on new hosts?

Before you say :effort: - it shouldn't be hard to delete the threads. A few SQL queries on the database should do the trick.

But you have to remember that many people ARE planning to reupload so deleting their threads would be wasted efforts on both sides.

Well honestly I was already moving a lot of the threads to the graveyard.
I was doing it when they were still mass deleting the links, so I had to check each thread to see if it still had working links or not.
But now I can mass move those threads, because they're all down. lol

^ i totally agree. I said it before somewhere what do ppl have against torrents?
Most ppl i asked told me that "they aren't safe" i say a pc is as safe as the os and antivirus they use. Having a payed subscription on a file-sharing site, which the USA feds (btw wtf America? do you want to play god on the internet too?) take down defeats the whole free flow of information for free rule.

I've been using torrents and only torrents since i got my internet connection at home 7 years ago and there isn't anything that i can't find or download and always at max speed. Downloading something from a website that

1st i can find with torrents
2nd i can download at max speed with torrents
3rd the website limits my download speed
4th has a timer to prevent me from downloading again for sometime
thus forcing me to pay a subscription fee sounds pretty ridiculous to me.

There are other ways to get your anime shot guys and i believe that downloading from a website that keeps records of your ip activity (if you go for free download) or your credit card number, address and so on ( if you go with subscription) is imo stupid.

Sorry if i have offended someone but remember everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
