Default User's submitted mirrors on main page. - 07-25-2011, 06:42 AM

I've noticed for a while now, that there are a couple of users who would always mess up the mirror area by ignoring the rules of 5 links per mirror, AND 3 links per user per fansub group. I don't know if it's already implemented, or if it's already in progress... but if the programmer has the time, he can implement a check on the server side to:

1. Allow only 5 links to be submitted for each mirror. Or just hide (don't display) the additional links, but still keep it in the database.
2. Allow each user to only submit 3 links per post.

Of course, those number can be adjusted when need be...

If that is done, we don't have to worry about untidy post, or the unnecessary back and forth when a certain user gets banned for breaking a rule, because that would never happen. It easier for everybody, except maybe the programmer, who has to write out the code.

Just a suggestion...

Actually, everything you just said is already in effect. But the max allowed links is 5, but the max amount showing is 6 so we still know who breaks the rules.

We keep a tight check on things.

The idea of limit is obviously great, but with the possibility of adding six links, where the limit is five - is no longer a good option.
Some people may deliberately add a sixth mirror - OK ..
But some just do not.
I am such dodastałem banned, because I added a sixth mirror - refreshed the page (there were two mirrors), after ~ 5 seconds, I added a mirror, refreshed again and it was six.

Another question:
On the forum is ban for linking on-going series TV.
And can I post on-going OVA series?

The rules for the mirrors are set and they stay set, no discussion.

As for your question: You can't post on-going series or OVA series in the download forum until the series ends. With the exception of series such as naruto & OP n stuff.

3. Addeding my one mirror (~ 5 second) - Submit

I can't speak for the others but if it's in my posts, and you do accidentally get the 6th post, you're free to FLAG the post and PM me about it. If you do that, I know it's an accident since telling me you got the 6th post tells me you didn't do it on purpose.
