i came in this thread expecting to see people who knew something about boxing... boy was i wrong. just a bunch of Mayweather haters as usual. if you were a real boxing fan youd respect the dudes skills instead of hating on him because you dislike him personally. hes not even close to my favorite person but his skills, especially his defense are friggin emaculate. he stands right in front of the people he fights and they still cant touch him. i agree that he should sit down on his punches more, but he still knocked Ricky Hatton the hell out and quite a few other people too. he completely annihilated Diego Corrales when Diego was one of the most deadly fighters out there.(R.I.P.) Chris 0410 has it right, he doesnt like the dude but he still gives him his props. check his record he beat some of the best while they were at their best. maybe some of you guys should watch more boxing. i havent missed a major fight in over 10 years and havent missed Friday Night Fights in 11. lol

im not hatin' on mayweather, well i am sort, i mainly hate his ego. Hey, i know my boxing too, i watched many of the good fight too (streaming). Diego Corrales was the shit, i always look back to the fight against jose castillo, guy had heart and he will be missed. right now im following Edwin Valero, this guy just got winning a match against antonio demarco i believe which made his wins up to 28 win....all knockouts. What does everyone think about Chaves Jr?

im not a huge fan of Chaves. hes been fighting pushovers for too long, its time for him to fight better competition. Edwin Valero is a beast! sorry if i came off like a boxing snob dude, but i REALLY love the sport. and anybody that has love for Diego is cool with me. hes probably one of my favorite fighters of all time and that Castillo fight was absolutely insanely epic. one of the best fights of all time in almost everyones book.

this guy is hilarious, but his cocky attitude was justified, as he was a winner of several world belts and dominated most of his opponents so effortlessly. i remember that he got a 45 second ko in one match.

Had Vazquez not been (deliberately) stripped by the WBA of his belt (they did not want their featherweight title unified with the WBO), Hamed would have the distinction of being the first boxer to hold all four world titles in a division. This is an overlooked accomplishment of Prince Naseem.
