Ore no turn! Although I can't remember much from when I started playing badminton. ¬¬
So I started playing badminton when my Vietnamese friend asked me if I could train with him. I had nothing to do anyways and I always thought about giving badminton a shot, so I accepted.
I was about 11 years old at that time, so it was physically hard to begin with. After a year, my friend got promoted to the second training team (out of 3, the first being the best and the third for the beginners), so I had no one to play with and I stopped. I started again when I was 14, because some of my old friends started playing, too, and I just couldn't resist the urge of starting again with them, so here I am training in the second training team with my friends.
My first racquet was a Carlton Titanium my mom bought for like 50 Danish Kroners (which is roughly 10 bucks). I recently used a Forza Ti-45 N-Forze Power racquet I got from my brother's friend, but it literally broke in half when I collided with my friend (playing doubles, lol), so my friend insisted in me getting his Yonex 7700 for free, but the strings only lasted for 1 day. I'm currently using a Chinese Toppro racquet (yay for chinese quality) I bought in China.
I only play using feather birdies, since I only play when I'm training, and we only have these Yonex Feather Shuttlecocks. I still play three times a week, still getting better, in fact, someone told me that I was able to move to the first training team. But I barely know anyone in over there, so I'm definitely not intending to move.
As for official games in my country, I never won a single one T-T.. The next is coming in about a month, and I'm pretty confident in myself, so I'm thinking about giving it my all and hopefully win my first game
