Perhaps it's best not to bat first. Australia are in a similar situation to England from the first test, all out for 245.

yeah its been a good innings from pietersen and he probably would have made a few more if it didn't start to rain. Still I wouldn't get your hopes up for an England win it is still raining here and there is more rain forecast for tomorrow.

As long as this form continues to the third test it'll be fine. But hopefully Australia will make more of a game of it.

I no longer know what to think. I am planning to be at the cricket the day after boxing day though, so hopefully I'll be able to see an english victory with my own eyes.
