I just got this game for my birthday, thanks to my mom, fun game so far.

Who else here owns the game and has beaten it?

By the way, I am currently in Junon, defending the base, and this is my first time playing the game.

So... you're still at the beginning of the game, wanna discuss it, but without any spoilers? Well, uh, the boxart was nice. The title screen was cool. Had a spiffy opending cinema. Zack has a big sword which Cloud has in FF7. I guess that's all.

Perhaps my memory of a game that's three years old is a little off. I could have swore there was a part of the game early that involved Junon.

Regardless, the point I was trying to make is that you started a discussion thread of an old game... and no one is allowed to talk about anything you personally haven't gotten to yet. Do you see anything wrong with that idea?

There are other things to talk about besides the plot, like what did you think of the game, was it enjoyable, etc

The game sucks if its not undubbed.

Minerva is officially the hardest boss Square Enix has ever made. It's like doing a one man raid and you're severely underleveled.

beaten. Its not that bad if you're prepared. Unless you're playing the jap ver. and can't do the [censored] trick.

After it was released Squenix themselves stated that Sephiroth in the first Kingdom Hearts is the most difficult boss in any game they released. I'd believe that still is true because even notorious bosses such as the weapons in FF7 and Minerva in CC have tricks to make the battles easier, but there was nothing to ease the suffering when trying to battle Sephiroth.
