What I like about this game is the intense "omgomgomg" moment/feeling, when you're being attacked, right before the cooldown for the desperately needed warp in is about to be finished.... then POW! you finally found out that he did an all in, which ultimately caused him to lose the game \(´-´)/ El *sigh* Congroo.. I love it!

So does AT have their own group for sc2 or what? I'm ChaosMaster on both NA and SEA so if anyone is up for some team matches I'm cool

Yeah, most people would play on NA I suspect, as there's a lot more games going on there, always takes about 1 min to find a game vs up to 5 min on SEA (depending on time). NA seems easier though, that is anything below high diamond seems easier than on SEA equivalent.

Ahh I completely forgot that I had created this thread haha.

Things have changed so much since then. The game itself has mature very well. New timings, fleshed out playstyles, larger maps, strong standardized play- the game is becoming really wonderful if you really just sit down and analyze it properly.

I just got back into after a long hiatus and I sure do suck. My builds are completely outdated by a major season with a new patch. Protoss players are better at dealing with mid-late game pressure from us Zergs and terrans seem to rely heavily on super solid mech to deal with the ghost nerf, but of course I'm quite sure that bio play is still okay. Thorzain sure made a statement with his mech however.

Currently I'm now opting for delayed gas in ZvT, and 3 gas for ZvP around the 6:00 - 6:30. Also it seems that lair tech is much more important now, holding a higher priority than speed in the MUs less ZvZ. I think that directly attributes to the larger maps like this season with Cloud Kingdom and Korhal.

Watching the pro games are even better nowadays. Sheth showing impressive game sense when he literally creates a full larvae cycle of drones @8~ min during scary protoss aggression. It may look intuitive from an observer viewpoint but within the game it takes balls to do that sort of thing, and obviously if you had the correct judgment on the protoss' level of aggression you come WAY ahead =).

I hope there are still people on AT still playing SC2. It'd be cool if anyone's interested in practice games. I have very little time for laddering nowadays so those practice games are quite valuable. GL HF on your games guys!

Playing 3's or 4's is completely fine, in fact I'd argue it's one of the best things to do as a casual SC2 player. I used to play competitively and I find that after playing for long periods of time alone in the harsh environment that the 1v1 ladder is, its great to cooldown with some fun team games.

There are always awesome pro games going on. Usually they are in the evening if you're going by US time (Central, West, East) but both EG (Evil Geniuses) and the IPL (IGN Pro League?) have begun broadcasting for the EU audience; so for people like me on the East Coast, we can catching the games in the afternoon or late mornings =).

There are also personal streams from Pro players which are very educational as well as entertaining. Pro korean players tend to play in the morning to early afternoon, again going by US time and obviously our good foreign players tend to steam in the afternoon to late evenings.

Also MLG Columbus is coming up this weekend! Be sure to tune in, I'm sure some historic games will be played there since the field of competition is absolutely amazing.

Here's the winter line up: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Violet is one of my favorite players, personally I'm a bit of Violet Hipster so I'm like totally nerding out for the guy haha.
