Soulstorm is a terrible expansion to a great game.

It was lazily done, buggy, and nothing new was brought to the game other than 2 races which have rendering problems. I'm glad Iron Lore died before it was released (the only other game they made was a boring Diablo 2 clone), it would have been much better if Relic did it instead, but they must have been working on DoW2.

Last time Relic outsourced for an Expansion to an Existing game the result was Homeworld: Cataclysm which was an awesome spin-off to Homeworld.

Though, I dislike what Relic has done to Dawn of War 2. If there is a DoW 3, I hope they return the series back to its core.

you think so ? from the concept i liked dow 2 more because its more strategic i used to play with my brother we kicked everyones asses in the net ^^ i was dissapointed at dow 1 because they have made to many races 0o comming up with strategies against all races is a pain in the ass especialy after a patch you can do it again -.- ánd the balancing sux most of the time. i hope they dont do that with dow2 ... the first expansion is allready comin.

I understand what you mean, but I prefer the fast paced frantic base building and micro-ing of the 1st Dawn of War and it expansions rather than DoW 2.
