Civ5's a great game, probably the best Civ so far.
Hex's are so much better than squares and I also like the no stacking of the army option but the Diplomacy A.I still remains a bitch. The game does have a few bugs but nothing major and what I'm really looking forward to is all the great mods lined up by the fan community for this.

I spent 12hours on my first game without leaving my seat to drink or eat! To call that game an addiction will be an understatement. I finished playing a game yesterday and was at war with my biggest threat, (A.I)Washington (USA) and all the Civ States on my map because I wanted to win via conquer. It was such a douchebag moment as they decided to wage war after I had just finished conquering Greece. I had major unhappiness and my maintenance was eating up all the Gold in my Bank. I managed to influence two major civ states positioned at very strategic locations on the map and with their aid, stalled the war until I was back on my feet and conquered the civ states that I sought help from before letting Washington eat Lincoln's beard. It will be hilarious to say I was playing as Kim-Jong-il of North Korea but that isnt a civ in the game. I used Rome |

Great game but so far haven't got addicted. Like ARTHURIUSS said, hexes are definitely better than squares but it kinda feels dumbed down/streamlined after playing Civ 4 but overall great game.
<3 the egyptian faction since I'm a habitual monument builder :3 |

Finally picked up Civ 5 and I'm imediately suffering from, "one more turn" syndrome all over again. Though I do have to admit, I'm a little disappointed, they did away with what was probably my favorite part of Civ 4, the civics options. The Social Policies feel more like talent trees ala WoW than setting up a system of goverment. Ah well, atleast the new combat system makes capturing cities more interesting.
