Synopsis - Kuronuma Sawako is nicknamed Sadako (from the ring)
because many people think she's scary to the point of thinking they
would be cursed for looking into her eyes till a rather popular and
outgoing classmate Kazehaya-kun becomes her friend.

The manga is decent. I read the first volume (and the second one comes out next month =]) in anticipation for this show. The fall anime sneak peak got me interested in it by its synopsis, so I picked up the manga. Because I enjoyed the manga I will in turn watch the anime unless it is noticeably worse compared with the manga.

I wonder how they'll do the parts where the art drops considerably, but it is used in a way for comedic purposes. I hope they do it the same way in the anime.

I'm looking forward to this

there's only 16 current manga chapters out though right? That doesn't seem like much story to me... There may be filler in there to bulk it out.

I only read 0-3 (vol1), but because it is 4 chapter/volume (I think I saw 5 in one volume in a later one or I may be mistaken); it has like 50~ pages per volume. Really detailed, but it could be hard to stretch it =/.
