Yes and yes. They will be deleted after a certain period of inactivity if you're not a premium user anymore. Stuff will be deleted even if you're premium and they get licensed from Fileserve. That's why I don't upload on it anymore, it's pretty much useless now.

DDLA is good. Depositfiles is also doing good I hear. I'm not an uploader so I don't really know much about this. Id recommend asking Commander A as he is the main uploader of the front page and has accounts on a bunch of file hosts.
