2) My rules haven't changed for almost a year, I just merged the thread yesterday.
3) The Void. Spammers paradise. Sure, we allow ALMOST anything in there. However, topics that seem to have no point whatsoever, or are simply spam taking up space, will be removed. The same goes for duplicate threads, which will most likely be merged. There's a fine line between the void and general discussion. We tend to reserve general discussion for more serious and constructive topics, and we reserve the right to move your topic depending on where we think it belongs.

Your thread in the void must have been completely pointless spam if it was removed, and I trust the judgement of the other mods.
