Also, get settled in once you get to ep 165-167. It's what you're waiting for (at this point of the series) and it does not disappoint. The way ep 166 ends will leave a lasting impression on you.

I finished DtB and wasn't too blown away. The series had it's moments, but that's about it to me. I enjoyed the first 1/3 of the series the best, especially the beginning. My attention started wandering some during the last couple episodes, and that should never be the case with a great series. I put it at the same level as series like RahXephon and Michiko no Hatchin.
Just watched the first couple eps of Bamboo Blade and I'm hooked already. I'm lovin' Tamaki.

yea thats the feeling im getting with DTB... everyone been saying its amazing especially with sequel coming out, but i just dont see anything exceptional.

as for bleach... the fillers def get annoying. at least they havent used dan kanonji recently ~ that dude was really annoying. but i just DL and if i see its filler skim through it in like 2 minutes... cant wait for ichigo vs grimmjow showdown.

I just finished ep 23 of Darker Than Black... and so far it's let me down a bit too. It's good, just not as good as I was expecting.
As for Bleach, within 10 more episodes I'll guess you'll be hooked. Like, episode 166 or something. You could skip the filler to cut down on how many eps you have to watch. A site like www.bleach7.com has every episode for download, and they're all categorized by story arc and filler so you'd know what you could skip... though they tend to have slight spoilers in the synopsis of each episode...
Once you get up in the 190's you'll see the greatness of Bleach.

yea i watch bleach when im bored with the main series im trying to watch ~ not that i dislike bleach, just dont have the fortitude to plow through 200+ episodes, so ive been working at it. darker than black is letting me down some.
