playing in a band is great fun, and much better than playing by yourself (although playing alone on guitar is easier than for bass!). try asking around or advertising if you really want to, its worth a try and like i said great fun!
honestly i listen to pretty much anything, although my favourite stuff tends to range from pop-rock to metal. favourite band is lostprophets at the moment! how about you?

hmmm well i play a bit of whatever really, generally rock stuff but i have a very varied music taste anyway so ill play pretty much anything =] first thing i ever played on bass was a very simple bassline to morrissey bigmouth strikes again for a school music concert
