I am interested in video game design. I think it'd be really cool, but I heard there's a lot of math involved, and math isn't exactly my best subject.
They offered Japanese at your school? That's so cool! The closest thing they offered at my school was Chinese and they tookit away after a year because no one could pass it. It was too hard for them. And they only offered it to the upper classmen, which I though was stupid.
Depending on which shift I'm on, I'll be doing different things. If I'm on evenings (second shift), then I'll be on u-scan, cashier, or bagger. But if I'm working nights (third shift), since I'll be there overnight, I'll be mostly doing put-backs, cleaning, and preparing for first shift to come in. And since nights are an 8 hour shift, I'll only be able to work a few days out of the week to keep me from being full-time.

I'll be taking core classes like English, Communications (which I've yet to figure out what it IS exactly), and general math, and then certain art classes. They even have a video game design class, which I'm looking into.
In high school I took three years of French, and it was easy, I just don't think I wanna continue it in college. My French teacher wasn't very strict so I know going from high school to college will be a bit of a shock to me. I can read and translate French fine, it's the speaking part I'm horrible at. I can't do a proper French accent.
Is it required to take a language at your school?
Oh! And the manager for the place I'll be working at called me today. She said I'll be starting training tomorrow afternoon! The best part about it is that I get paid when I come in. I start at $8 an hour since I'm on third shift.

There aren't any community colleges over there? That's odd.
Yep, we'll both be working. Financial aid, because we really can't expect our parents to pay for both of us to go to college, even if it is just community.
I mean, you can take just about anything in college. I think I'll be going for a general arts degree so I'll be taking more creative-based classes. Hopefully I won't have to deal with any language classes. Didn't much care for them in high school.
Tattoos aren't for everyone, but if you decide on one you should tell me about it! It'd be cool to see what you'd get.
