Urgh, Twilight.
Still I accept the birthday wishes.

I was a Konata head the first watch of Lucky Star, then when I got the DVD's and watched a second time, I found a bigger appreciation for Kagami, can't see one without the other.

The first handful of episodes were actually alright... it was at least good enough to make me think that it was going to be a decent series. And there's a couple episodes where Meg goes undercover at an all girls school which was good.
Everything else pretty much sucks though. Nothing wrong with giving it a chance. I mean, I gave it a chance... based on the weakness of men- it's an action series and the red headed girl is hot.
-
That's fair enough, I'm gonna give it a chance since I liked volume 1 of the manga.

You'll see what I'm talking about when you watch it. Me briefly explaining it in words is much different than seeing it in the context of the episode.
A guy brings a broken bottle to a gun fight. And the idiocy in logic is only a fraction of why the show sucks.
-
To be fair, the logic doesn't sound anywhere near as stupid as Gurren Lagann in the final battles in space, or might you argue you at least found that entertaining?
-
More stupid logic: Jo is on a motorcycle chasing a guy on a harbor who escapes on a boat... so she shoots a stack of wooden crates with her pistols which falls into a ramp... she jumps it out over the water and shoots a hanging dragon head on a boat which falls on the guy escaping.
These types of moments are plentiful, and as you keep watching the series you'll find yourself going -_- and shaking your head... a lot.
