At least for now, I think everyone should be allowed to give a rating however they want. People would develope a "style" that's their own for their reviews... then people that are browsing them would eventually learn the format of each person and follow the presentation that appeals to them.

Basically, I think it's way too early to be worrying about it.

I don't know if I completely understand what ttally was talking about... but that's my opinion on the way I see it. Having a poll on a series is asking for trolls. Again, think of Bleach. Plus people would be voting on a series they haven't even watched just to be a troll and fuck up the rating. Also, what about the review itself? How do you write a review that reflects all the different ratings? People would be voting, but how do you know why they gave a score of 7?

I don't think it would work. I personally would just be patient and let multiple reviews for an anime build up.

Hm, i can understand that, but japanese is so fun :O we are learning how to read and write in Katakana/Hiragana, that my friend, is a pain in the ass. and i took 3 years of german in junior high school... not the most funny language there is >_> would have taken Spanish if it was available. And sorry for this late reply, did go to bed after my last yday, and got home late today.
