nope i haven't because once i've either seen the manga or anime, i don't like to see the other one. for example full metal alchemist, i didn't even know that the first one didn't follow the original storyline half way through until i read the comments about fma:brotherhood.
nowadays i prefer reading the manga because i'm not impressed with the animation of animes nowadays. in my opinion there are very few that has the same quality as samurai x, slam dunk, fma, etc.

No I don't think so, I've been given a huge mangalist and I posted it in the manga recommendations thread.
It's taking some time to finish that and I don't think I put samurai x in the list, so it'll take even longer before I read that. xD
