It means that the front page mirrors will soon be limited to 5 links per episode and staff decides which links can stay and which ones go.(f.e. if someone uploads randomfilehost1 we might delete it in favor of other, more usefull filehosts to be posted) This subject isn't up for discussion and we already keep a tight check on the mirror section as it is to prevent double-posting and what not. I just wanted to let you know since you're usually adding links later then the others.

What do you mean with the 5 link limit?
- Can every user post maximum 5 links, or
- Can every file only have a maximum of five links(I hope it isn't this one, it would be unfair for people with a slow connection, and it would become impossible to post any of the encoded files, and you aren't allowed to sleep anymore. The other negative part is, the quality of the links that go down, but most importantly, people are going to start to use fake names or are trying to use other tricks, I still remember from one of animetakes partner sites were they reserve the posting places with an empty folder and then they place the link in it when the upload is finished).

Well, if you want the problem of to much links to be solved, then it might be better to remove the "anime download section" and the "manga download section" from the total post count. The problem is that to many people posts in the anime download section, they just put their links over there, and when it reached the 100 count. They start to post on the main page, without even saying a word in the forums( the 100 posts rule lost it's reason to exist). I also noticed that their are a lot of newbies in it, and what happens when they reach the 100 count... Ok, I start to get worried, I'm starting to image 100 to 1000 people posting links on the front page at the end of the year.

Note Chomio that we’re currently implementing a 5-link mirror limit so every 6th link will be removed until that system is actually active. Just thought I’d let you know before you end up having all your mirrors deleted.
