Most sites that provide serial keys, have virusses on them or are bogus.
So be carefull when searching for it.

Another way of working with avs video editor is doing it frame per frame.
If I remember correctly Joss should've made a tutorial about it.

I downloaded it, installed it and checked how it works...
And it's as easy as it shows on the screenshots. (for me at least)

The program can't save to gif, but it can be used to cut the parts out you want to use for the gif.
Ok first Import your movie in the library (click import and select your video).
Now it should appear in the library (a new picture with the filename of the video should appear).
Drag that picture (your video) to the first line/bar below. It should get a green border when you go over it.
Then press trim and there you have it ... can't tell you more cuz my mothers staring at me demanding to shut down my pc.

I've heard about it quite a lot, but don't and havn't used it ever. xD
But looking at some screenshots, I think it won't be that hard to use. ^^
